A solid whodunit thriller, but a mixed bag. While the style, atmosphere and slow unveiling of the mystery isn’t as strong or fun as it could be, Kenneth Branagh leads a phenomenal all-star cast with some excellent performances.
An OCD and manner-obsessed introvert’s nightmare, rife with biblical references – though it goes too far towards the end. A powerful allegory with a strong message, it’s a well-written, gorgeously shot film with excellent performances and an unrelenting feeling of unease and paranoia.
